Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli national park
On the first day of the safari you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi after morning breakfast, your safari driver a representative of Focus East Africa Tours who will also brief you about the safari and then embark on your 4-5 hours to Amboseli national park. Upon arriving in the park you will be welcomed by scenic views of the backdrop of mountain Kilimanjaro which is capped by snow, you will check into your lodge, have lunch and then go to the park for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli national park is a scenic national park with a backdrop of snow capped mountain Kilimanjaro with a huge population of elephants, on the game drive you will see many animals such as elephants, buffaloes, wildebeests, lions, leopards and many more. in the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: transfer from Amboseli to Tsavo west
On the second day of the safari you will wake up early and head to the park for early morning game drive as early as 6:00 am, early morning game drive is the best time for spotting predators such as lions, leopards, cheetah and many other animals like African buffalo, spotted hyena, wildebeest and many more. Then you will drive back to your lodge for breakfast, checkout and head to Amboseli national park which is a drive of approximately 4-5 hours using Mombasa route. When you arrive in Tsavo West national park you will check into your lodge, have lunch and then drive to park for an afternoon game drive. On the game drive you will spot animals such as impalas, spotted hyenas, wildebeests, lions, elephants and many more. In the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: transfer from Tsavo west to Tsavo East
On the 3rd day of the safari you will have early morning breakfast then head to the park for a game drive of 3-4 hours, on this experience you will explore the park enjoying sights of animals such as eastern black rhinoceros, lions, hippos, African buffalo and many more . On the same drive you will visits sites like Mzima springs which is perfect spot for seeing large numbers of hippos and crocodiles, after the game drive you exit the Tsavo west national park and embark on your journey to Tsavo East national park which is a drive of 2-3 hours.
Tsavo East national park is an excellent habitant for a large population of animals with a huge number of elephants , upon your arrival you will check in to your lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a game in drive in the plains of Tsavo East national park. on the game drive you will spot many animals such as herds of elephants, spotted hyenas, black-backed jackal, lesser kadu, banded mongoose, lion, leopards, lesser kudu and many more. in the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: transfer from Tsavo East back to Nairobi
On the 4th and last day of the safari you will wake up so early in the morning and drive to the park for a game drive, the morning game drive is a perfect time for you to spot many animals you might have missed on the last game drive such as lions, leopards, hippos, buffaloes, wildebeests and many more. After the game drive you will drive back to your lodge for breakfast, checkout and embark on your drive back to Nairobi, in Nairobi you will have lunch and then be dropped off at the hotel or at the airport for your departure flight back home.
