Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park
Transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park: On day 1 of 4 days Uganda Gorilla trekking & golden monkey trekking safari, you will set off from your earlier communicated location in Kampala/ Entebbe and set off on a long journey drive to Mgahinga gorilla national park a home to only one habituated Nyakagezi Gorilla family. Along the journey, you will enjoy a stopover at the Equator where you will take plenty of stunning photographs. You may enjoy some craft shopping if you wish just near the equator. Proceed to Mbarara city for an enroute lunch and finally continue with your journey to Mgahinga gorilla national park where you will arrive late in the evening, check in for dinner and night rest.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga gorilla national park
Mountain gorilla trekking: On day 2 of your safari, wake up early for morning breakfast after which you will pack some snacks, drinking water and wear appropriate gorilla trekking gear and meet your safari guide/ driver as you set off for a transfer to the briefing point where you will meet other trekkers ready for briefing before embarking on a gorilla trekking adventure in the wilderness of Mgahinga gorilla national park. During briefing, you will learn more about what you are supposed to do and not to do while in the jungle. After briefing, you will be led into the forest for an actual gorilla trek as you search for these gentle giants in their natural habitats. The entire trek takes a few hours to several hours depending on the movement of gorillas and the speed of the trekkers and upon finding gorillas, you will spend only 1 hour in presence of Gorillas taking photographs and closely interacting with gorillas and taking photographs after which you will exit the forest and return to the lodge for dinner and night rest.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla national park
Golden monkey tracking and Batwa trail: After breakfast on day 3 of your safari safari, pack your snacks, enough drinking water and all that you need then meet your safari driver to be returned to the park headquarters for briefing before embarking on Golden monkey trekking. After briefing, you will penetrate into the bamboo shoot to start the adventurous walk in search of Golden monkeys in their natural habitats. Well unlike gorilla trekking, Golden monkey trekking takes you a few hours to find these beautiful primates though you will as well spend only 1 hour with them taking photos and watching them as they jump over the papyrus swamp. Late on, exit back to your lodge for a late lunch. Spend your afternoon at leisure or visit the Batwa.

Day 4: Drive back to Kampala for departures
Drive back to Kampala for departures: On day 4 which is the final day of your safari, enjoy your breakfast and be ready to a drive back to Kampala or Entebbe depending on your preferred drop-off location. This marks the end of your safari.
