Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta Airport: On day 1 of the 8 Days Uganda Kenya Safari Adventure, our driver or guide will pick you up to Jomo Kenyatta international Airport on your arrival time and drives you to your hotel. You will be given a complimentary drive around the Nairobi city most probably a night drive after a brief welcome meeting. Dinner and overnight stay as you anticipate of the tour ahead.

Day 2: Nairobi transfer to Lake Naivasha national park

Transfer to Lake Naivasha park: You will wake up, have morning breakfast, then proceed to beautiful Lake Naivasha which is a few driving distance as go winding with spectacular view of the beautiful Rift Valley escarpment. Arrival the park early morning checks into the lodge. Go for birding which will be led by a trained guide to take you along swampy areas ,acacia trees where you will be able to sight see notable bird species such flamingo ,fish eagles ,doves ,herons ,marabous stork ,kingfishers ,weaver many more, you will also get to listening of colobus monkeys call from the tree tops , come across to number of wild animals like giraffes ,zebras ,waterbuck ,wildebeest among others ,you can still visit tourist attractions of this place such as the crescent island and Elsamere which are quite rewarding thus making your tour memorable .Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.

Boat Ride: After Lunch, in the afternoon go enjoy a scenic boat ride on this fresh water lake, you will be able to see water birds like fish eagles, watch buffalos wallow in the water. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Kampala

You will wake have breakfast, check out of the park and depart to cross the border into Uganda via Malaba, then head to Kampala city and camp outside of the country’s capital. On your where, you will have picnic lunch. After lunch you will continue the journey as go enjoying different landscapes into the country. Arrive at one of Kampala’s beautiful hotel for dinner and overstay.

Day 4: Kampala transfer to Kalinzu forest Reserve

Transfer to Kalinzu Forest: Wake up have breakfast, after drive out of the city of seven hills and transfer to the west via Masaka road. Go watching the Ugandan countryside pass by on the day’s journey. Arrive in time for lunch. Relax into the campsite and then after have a full briefing of the area and also given a small complimentary forest walk to get in the forest feel.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu to Queen

Chimpanzee tracking: Wake up early in the morning have breakfast ,go for a short briefing about chimpanzee rules ,then after a trained guide leads you to enjoy a chimpanzee tracking excursion through the scenic Kalinzu forest Reserve .Track along the ridges and valleys of the Rift valley escarpment to visit chimpanzees in their natural habitat .The guide will lead you to forest trails which offers rewardable views over the Rwenzori Mountains ,Lake Edward ,the Kazinga Channel and Congo .Once chimpanzee are found ,you will be given one hour to learn on their life style ,feeding ,playing ,swinging on the tree branches as you take photos for your safari remembrance.

After chimpanzee tracking you can still walk through a tea plantation with a local guide where you can view multiple varietals of tea and learn about the process of growing tea plants from the harvesting stage till to what makes the best cup of tea. After encountering into this incredible activity from Kalinzu forest Reserve one of Uganda’s forested areas, then head to Queen Elizabeth national park.

Arrive at the park, check in to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Morning Game drive and Boat cruise

Game drive: Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast. After drive to ishasha sector to search for unique tree climbing lions and other wild animals such as elephants, buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks, warthogs, antelopes among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Boat cruise: After lunch, go for boat cruise along Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Kazinga channel is a home of high population of hippos which can be viewed on your boat cruise plus other animals can be seen along the water banks linking for water such as buffalos, elephants bathing, still enjoy to sight see water species of birds on your boat cruise experience which takes 2 hours. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in the same lodge you used.

Day 6: Transfer to Fort portal

Visit Amabeere Ga Nyina Mwiru: Wake up on relaxation morning have breakfast, check out of the park. Depart to Amabeere to view the stalagmites and caves where you might see amazing nature on planet, walk around and view the crater lakes, landscape and beautiful ranges known to this city. Back to the lodge for lunch and drive to Kampala. Arrive late evening in Kampala at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Kampala City Tour

Kampala city tour: On your last day, you will do city tour have your breakfast. Our drive will give you a short briefing about Kampala city tour, you will start your encounter with visiting Uganda Museum known as the oldest museum in East Africa located close to the city. On your visit to museum you will take a look of the displayed Uganda’s historical collection sections like culture heritage, musical galley, Architecture where you will be able to see chair where president Museveni seat when he had just come into power, the fold car in Uganda among many.

Visit Namugongo Shrine: After here, you will drive to Namugongo shrine which is a 1-hour drive. Visiting this place, you will see where the 45 heroes were burnt from because of their faith and this has attracted millions of people worldwide inclusive Pape Francis to come celebrate the faith of these heroes on every 3rd June annual basis. Drive back for lunch and check out of the hotel. Be transferred to Entebbe Airport.
