Top highlights of a honeymoon Safari in Kenya

Top highlights of a honeymoon Safari in Kenya : For good reason, most popular honeymoon location is a safari in Kenya. For a once-in-a-lifetime safari honeymoon, This article brings you the stunning safari destinations that makes your honeymoon the most exceptional experience.

Maasai Mara lion cubs.

Maasai Mara offers a never-before-seen glimpse of giraffes, elephants, springbok, buffalo, ostriches, hyenas, and more. The best part, though, is getting to witness lion cubs interacting and eating with their mothers. Being able to travel off-road allows to get close to the lionesses and avoid the hundreds of other 4×4 vehicles that swarmed in to see the lions, which is a major perk of being in a private reserve.

Top highlights of a honeymoon Safari in Kenya : Tea and biscuits in bed.

Everyone knows that safaris need early beginnings, which may seem contradictory on a romantic honeymoon, but if you must rise early, nothing beats having a cup of tea and biscuits sent to your room as a wake-up call.

Top highlights of a honeymoon Safari in Kenya : Bush breakfasts.

Having al fresco breakfast by a river after a few hours of game viewing, which included scotch eggs, yoghurt with mango and granola, and the companionship of a few crocodiles and hippos below is marvelous to enjoy on your honeymoon safari.

Also under enormous trees covered with purple flowers in Lewa and in the middle of the Mara plains, where zebra were peacefully grazing the long grass. And always with a mouthwatering selection of meals. A necessity for every honeymoon in Africa.

Hot air balloon safari.

There’s nothing like gliding across the grasslands in a gentle breeze as the sun slowly rises beyond the horizon, illuminating the animals from above. With hair-raising experience as drifting down near a herd of elephants that appeared to be upset about being disturbed. Views of the grandeur of the Maasai Mara and its diverse vegetation, ranging from the riverine forests and expansive savannahs to the Mara River, the site of the renowned wildebeest river crossings, are best seen from above.

Incredible food.

Since Saruni Mara is owned by Italians, the food at the restaurant has a distinct Italian flavor because many of the components are imported straight from Italy. Pastas, creamy risottos, and freshly baked bread were among the delectable (and my personal favorites) dishes served there. Fresh, locally grown food is a major focus in Lewa Wilderness, where a sizable portion of the vegetables comes from an open-air organic vegetable farm.

Varied Landscapes.

Large stretches of savannah with acacia trees, waterholes, and a few rivers scattered across the Masai Mara. On the other hand, Lewa has a much denser forest that frequently roped off to protect it from the elephants that had mostly stripped the acacia trees naked. Mount Kenya provided an amazing background to the hillier region.
