13 days Kenya and Uganda safari
13 day Kenya and Uganda safari takes you two destinations in different locations that is Bwindi impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking and to Kenya o various destinations for wildlife viewing including the amazing big five mammals.
Day 01: Arrival at Entebbe international airport and transfer to Bwindi.
On the first day of 13 days Kenya and Uganda- wildlife and primate safari. You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport and be welcomed by your safari guide you will brief you about the safari and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park with lunch enroute along the way. Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, the home of the giants upon your arrival you will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park.
After an early breakfast, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas.
During Gorilla trekking you will be able to view other primate species, different bird species, plants among others and once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, grooming young ones, take photos and record videos. After the one hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will meet your safari guide and go to Batwa community visit where you will be impressed with the forest inhabitants after you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 03: transfer back to Kampala.
On the third day of your safari, you will be transferred from Bwindi to Kampala, upon your arrival you can check inn your lodge and have a city tour around Kampala.

Day 04: fly to Nairobi and transfer to Maasai Mara.
After you have had your breakfast and checked out of your hotel in Kampala, your guide will drive you to Entebbe and fly to Nairobi where you will be again be transferred to Maasai Mara one of the famous destinations in Kenya which is for an amazing and exciting wildlife viewing experience.
During your drive to Maasai Mara national reserve, you will enjoy views of the rift valley escarpment as you drive through Kenya’s scenic highlands. You will have a stopover in Narok town and later proceed to Maasai Mara national reserve where you will see different wildlife species grazing in the nearby savannah plains as you continue your drive to your lodge for check in as you prepare to have your dinner and to spend the night.

Day 05: full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve.
You will start your day with breakfast served at your lodge as you prepare to go for your morning game drive in Maasai Mara national reserve. During your game drive you will search for a variety of wildlife species such as the predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs as well as other wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, hartebeest, zebras, antelopes as well as wildebeest which are among the spectacular sights at this destination especially during the time of the wildebeest migration as large numbers of wildebeest move around the savannah plains in search of greener pastures.
You will have lunch after your morning game drive and this will be followed with another game drive later in the afternoon to explore more of the wilderness of Masai Mara national reserve which is also known for sightings of the big five which includes elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos and rhinos. You will return to your lodge where your dinner will be served and you will spend the night in the comfort of your lodge.

Day 06: drive to Lake Nakuru national park.
You will have breakfast at your lodge in Masai Mara National Reserve and then check out of the lodge as you continue your journey to Lake Nakuru national park across the rift valley escarpment as you enjoy the beautiful scenery around you. You will have an en route game drive during which you will see wildlife species such as giraffes, rhinos, gazelles, buffalos, antelopes, reedbucks, elands, impalas among others.
Lunch will be served at your lodge after check in and after lunch, you will have another game drive in Lake Nakuru national park and you will visit the flamingo filled Lake Nakuru which is a good birding spot to see flocks of flamingos along the lake shores as well as other bird species and wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. You will be driven back to your lodge after your afternoon game drive to have your dinner and overnight.

Day 07: drive to Amboseli national park.
On the 6th day of your 13 days Kenya and Uganda safari, Breakfast will be served before you check out of your lodge and continue your drive to Amboseli national park through the rift valley escarpment as you proceed to Nairobi where you will have a stopover for lunch.
After you have had your lunch, you will continue your drive to Amboseli national park where you will have an en route game viewing experience to see wildlife species along the way such as herds of elephants which this national park is known for having and you will also enjoy views of Mt Kilimanjaro on your way to your lodge for check in and to have your dinner and to also spend the night.

Day 08: full day in Amboseli national park.
Your full day adventure in Amboseli national park will begin with breakfast at your lodge and then your guide will drive you around the wilderness of the national park as you search for the different wildlife species such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, gazelles, kudu, giraffes, elands as well as various bird species.
You will have lunch and later you will have another wildlife viewing experience and to enjoy photography as you catch sight of the beautiful sunset with the back drop of Mt Kilimanjaro. After your evening game drive, you will return to your lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 09: Transfer from Amboseli to Tsavo West.
After breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and drive to Tsavo West taking about 2 hours driving through the wilderness and have a stop at the Shetani lava flows. Upon arrival in the park, you will have a short drive as you head to lodge, check in and have lunch.
After lunch you will head out for a late afternoon game drive on which you will be able to see many animals including red elephants, lions, gazelles, zebras, antelopes, leopards, African wild dogs among others. During your Kenya safari in Tsavo West national park, you will be able to visit the Mzima Springs and you will spend the next day exploring the park on morning game drive.

Day 10: Drive from Tsavo to Diani.
Have breakfast, checkout of your lodge and drive to Diani- Mombasa. You will have lunch along the way and arrive in Mombasa in the late afternoon, check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 11 and 12: Beach activities.
Wake up on breakfast and take part in different activities while on this beautiful beach such as kayaking, snorkeling, sunbathing, visiting the caves, and swimming and among other activities with the sunset moments at the Indian Ocean.

Day 13: Transfer back to Nairobi.
This will be the last day of your safari and it begins perfectly with breakfast and then transfer to Nairobi, a journey that lasts 6 hours of drive. Upon arrival, you will straight away head to the airport where you will be dropped and this will mark the end of a 13 days’ holiday to Kenya and Uganda.
