This 4 Days Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru Safari is a short but un-filled safari adventure giving you a chance to explore Kenya’s wilderness. The iconic Masai Mara National Reserve is listed among the most visited wild places in Africa because of its diversity, including the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, elephants and rhinos and the Great Wildebeest Migration.
The reserve is a lion conservation unit with one of the highest lion populations on the continent. Lake Nakuru National Park is listed among the beautiful safari destinations in Kenya, famous for its huge populations of flamingoes, black and white rhinos and the endangered Rothschild Giraffes.

Detailed Itinerary of 4 Days Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have a stopover at the Rift Valley View Point to enjoy views of the Rift Escarpments and photographing.
Later proceed to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch, check in at your lodge and enjoy your meals. Later head out for a game drive seeking to see various wildlife including prides of lions, elephants, warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, gazelles, among others.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve
You will enjoy breakfast at your lodge and head out with packed lunch to explore the Masai Mara Ecosystem. On this full day game drive you will see a number of wildlife including the Big Five – elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos among others.
If you visit in the right time for the Great Wildebeest Migration, you will large columns of wildebeests on their annual journey in search for water and green pasture. For lunch, you will enjoy a picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites along the Mara River, later continue with the game drive till evening till sunset. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Start this day with an early morning breakfast where you will see the early risers. Return to your lodge for breakfast and then exit the park for a transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have an en route stop over for a lunch break. You will pass via Lake Elementaita and Lake Naivasha and if time allows you can have a boat cruise along Lake Naivasha. Later proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in the evening for a check in at the lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive & Departure
After breakfast, proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is among the park’s main attractions and is home to a millions of flamingoes as well as other bird species. Also, you will see other wildlife species including rhinos, waterbucks among others.
Enjoy lunch inside the park, then exit the park a transfer back to Nairobi arriving in the evening for drop off at your hotel or airport for departure depending on your flight schedule.
