3 Days Uganda Mountain Gorilla trekking safari package offers an opportunity to visit Bwindi impenetrable national park a home of the world’s largest population of mountain gorillas in the world, Bwindi impenetrable national is located in south-western region of Uganda, this forested park comprises of 4 sectors habiting mountain gorillas that are Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo.
One this experience you are assigned one of the gorilla family to trek in any of the 4 sectors, on this magical experience you will have a memorable time visiting the mountain gorillas. 3 days Uganda mountain gorilla trekking begins in Kampala and ends in Kampala.

Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the 1st of 3 days Uganda gorilla trekking you are to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, after early breakfast at your hotel either in Kampala or Entebbe you will meet your safari driver who will give you a short briefing then embark on your drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On your way you will have lunch in Mbarara then continue to the park, when you arrive in the park you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 2: mountain gorilla trekking
On the 2nd day of the 3 days Uganda mountain gorilla trekking safari you are to engage in the adventurous mountain gorilla trekking experience, after breakfast you will head to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing. In the briefing a senior ranger will read to you the dos and don’ts to follow while on this experience, then hike into the forests in search for your assigned mountain gorilla family which takes approximately 2-5 hours. When you locate your assigned gorilla family you are allowed to stay only 1 hour in the presence of mountain gorillas taking pictures and enjoying them move around, after the experience you will trek back to the park’s headquarters for your trekking certificate. Then head back to your lodge, in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.
Meal plan: full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Day 3: transfer back to Kampala
On the 3rd day of the 3 days Uganda gorilla trekking safari you will transfer back to Kampala marking the end of your 3 days Uganda mountain gorilla trekking safari, after breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and embark on your drive back to Kampala. On your way you will have lunch in Mbarara and have a stopover at the equator for monumental pictures and buying souvenirs, while in Kampala you will be dropped off at Entebbe international airport to catch your departure flight back home.
