Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: Pick and transfer from Nairobi – Masai Mara
The first day of the safari is for transferring from Nairobi to the beautiful Masai Mara national reserve, on this day you will be picked up from your hotel by your safari driver after morning breakfast. Your safari driver who is also a representative of Focus East Africa Tours will brief you about the safari and then embark on the journey to Masai Mara national reserve, on your way you will pass through the Great Rift Valley where you will get amazing scenic views. Upon reaching Masai Mara you will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon drive to the park for a game drive, on the game drive you will enjoy sights of many animals such as lions, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, leopards, elands and many more. You will also enjoy the beautiful sunset, in the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara national reserve
The second day of the safari is for a full day of adventure in Masai Mara national reserve giving tourists ample time to tour the plains of the park, you will have early morning breakfast then drive to the reserve a game drive. On the game drive you will spot many animals which are residents to the reserve such as Buffalo, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, rhino, giraffe, buffaloes, gazelles, elands, topi, impala and if you are lucky you can spot the wildebeest migration. The wildebeest migration is a greatest animal migration experience in Africa, the migration involves the movement of thousands of animals such as zebras, gazelle ad wildebeests from Serengeti national park o Tanzania to Masai Mara crossing over using Mara River.
You will have picnic lunch set on the banks of Mara River and then go for another game drive, in the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: Full day in Masai Mara National Reserve
The 3rd of the safari is for another full of adventure in Masai Mara national reserve and you are to participate in hot air balloon and nature walk safari experience, you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then drive to the park for a hot air balloon safari. Hot air balloon is a spectacular way of enjoying views the sunrise and animals residing in Masai Mara national reserve, as you float in the air you are rewarded with views of many animals such as lions, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elands and many more. Hot air balloon experience is the perfect experience to get aerial views of the great wildebeest migration and this experience lasts 2-3 hours, after the experience you will drive back to your lodge for lunch and in the evening you will return for a nature walk.
Nature walk experience is done on foot under the guidance of a game ranger, as you walk through the park you will spot many animals and also be rewarded with the beautiful nature and landscape of Masai Mara. In the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: visit the Masai community and transfer back to Nairobi
On the 4th and last day of the safari you will have breakfast and then drive to the Masai community for a cultural visit, this experience is a great chance for enjoying African traditions, values and norms. In the Masai village you will be entertained by local dance and songs, sights of the local manyattas and get to interact with the local Masai elders. After the experience you will embark on your journey back to Nairobi, on your way you will have en-route lunch and upon arriving in Nairobi you will be dropped off either at the hotel or at the airport for your departure flight.
