On this safari, you will visit and explore Maasai Mara national reserve and Serengeti national park which are one of the best wildlife destinations in the world hosting a huge population of wildlife including the Big Five “lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants and rhinos” and the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration.
This safari starts from Nairobi city of Kenya and Ends in Arusha city of Tanzania.

Detailed itinerary for the safari
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival in Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi City for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
After enjoying breakfast, you will meet your guide and transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve with a stopover in Narok Town and at the Rift Valley View point for magnificent views of the Rift Valley Escarpments.
You will arrive in the park in time for lunch after check-in and the evening you will go for a game drive exploring the endless savannah plains of the reserve. Lookout for various animals such as lions, leopards, gazelles, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs among others. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve
Spend a full day in Maasai Mara national Reserve exploring on a full day game drive.
After breakfast, you will head to the reserve for a full day of game drive with picnic lunch. On the game drives you will explore different areas of the reserve and you will spot many animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, giraffes among others. You will have picnic lunch set at one of the picnic spots in the park under an acacia tree, then continue with exploring the reserve and spot more animas until evening. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
You will have early breakfast and with en-route game drive, you will depart for Serengeti National Park with border crossing at Isebania border where you will clear with the authorities and meet our Tanzania guide and vehicle and head to Serengeti National Park.
With en-route game drive you will head to your lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Full day in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy breakfast and head to the park for a full day game drive on which you will explore the endless plains of the park and spot a variety of wildlife including spotted hyenas, leopards, rhinoceroses, hippos, giraffes, cheetahs, baboons and crocodiles among the Mara River.
You can decided either to go back to your lodge for lunch or have picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites in the park, then continue exploring the park. In the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Explore the Crater
Wake up early for breakfast, bid farewell to Serengeti national park and head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a host to the world’s largest intact caldera – The Ngorongoro Crater.
On arrival, you will drive around the crater as you head to your lodge for check-in and lunch and in the afternoon you will descend to the crater floor for a game drive. During the game drive you will spot a variety of animals include large herds of elephants, prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes and pink flamingoes on the shores of Lake Magadi found in the corner of the crater. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: transfer to Lake Manyara National Park and have a game a drive
Have early breakfast and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park a famous Tanzania wildlife destination for tree climbing lions and other animals.
On arrival in the park, you will check in to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon head to the park for a game drive lasting up to evening. Some of the animals to lookout for during the game drive include buffaloes, giraffes, baboons, blue monkeys, antelopes, leopards, lions among others.
Day 8: Departure
Enjoy breakfast and with en-route game drive, you will bid farewell to the park heading to Arusha for a drop off, marking the end of the safari.
