Penety Amboseli Resort is a newly built 3 star mid- range accommodation found in Amboseli, 4km from Kimana sanctuary and 25km from Amboseli kimana main gate Kenya region. The resort is situated few steps from Amboseli national park . The park is big covering 3000 square km area in Kenya and across the borders of Tanzania. You can either be in the park by road or air transport which takes about 240km driving Nairobi -arusha road through Meshanani gate and 228Km on Nairobi -mombasa road and 45 minutes to fly from Nairobi to close airstrip amboseli . The resort is convenient for relaxation and business friendly for Kenya safari adventures to tourists and travellers visiting the park overlooking the breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro ( africa’s highest mountain ) , gardens and surrounding areas.
Penety Amboseli resort consists of 15 spacious and comfortable safari cottages that accommodates 6 guests overlooking the stunning Mt. Kilimanjaro built in African traditional style with grass thatched roof and local wood . Tents are well decorated with en -suite facilities of flushing toilets, Mosquito nets , hot/cold separated running shower, free toiletries , white pillows, complementary bottled water, slippers, and other facilities. Cottages have verandas, sitting areas and terraces with a cozy atmosphere; you relax while overlooking the beautiful view of gardens and surrounding wilderness. The resort has excellent and comfortable cottages with clean and washed beddings. Cottages are in different sizes with single beds for individuals, double bed/ twins beds for sharing as well as family rooming options. The resort has fireplaces where guests relax and share stories about the safari; it also provides warmth to guests during chill weather. Rooms cost 200$ and above per night. But prices differ in different season where in peak season the price goes slightly high.
