Praro Amboseli Camp

Praro Amboseli Camp is a luxury accommodation owned and operated by Zebra Plains Collections, which runs more properties across Kenya. The camp is situated within the private Aloca Conservancy, bordering the Amboseli National Park region of Kenya (the “home of elephants”). The park is big, covering a 35,000 square km area in Kenya and across the borders of Tanzania.

You can  either be in the park by road or  air  transport which takes about  240km  driving  Nairobi -arusha road through Meshanani gate and 228 km on the Nairobi-Mombasa road, and 45 minutes to fly from Nairobi to the close Amboseli airstrip.

The camp is conveniently located in an ideal spot for safari adventures, catering to tourists and travelers who wish to explore the beautiful Mt. Kilimanjaro (Africa’s highest mountain) and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding areas.

Praro Amboseli camp consists of 46 luxury and spacious rooms overlooking the stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, built in traditional African style with comfort.  All rooms are well-decorated and furnished with en suite facilities, including flushing toilets, mosquito nets, hot and cold running showers, free toiletries, white pillows, dressing mirrors, complimentary bottled water, slippers, and additional amenities.

Rooms have verandas, sitting areas, and terraces with a cozy atmosphere; you can relax while overlooking the beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro, animals visiting the camp, and the surrounding wilderness. The camp has excellent and comfortable tents with clean and washed bedding. The camp offers single beds for individuals, double beds/twins for sharing, as well as family/group rooms.  The camp has fireplaces where guests relax and share stories about the safari; it also provides warmth to guests during chill weather.

Amboseli National Park  is  situated in southern Kenya in loitoktok district in Rift valley province of Kenya, lying  on 240 km from Nairobi and northwest of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park covers the total area of 392 km squared.
