Tawi Lodge – Amboseli National Park Kenya

Tawi Lodge is positioned on impressive private concession at the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro, just ten minutes away from the Kimana gate of Amboseli national park. The lodge is an eco-friendly safari accommodation offering magnificent views from both its main guest areas and its beautifully appointed cottages. And each cottage has romantic four poster beds, a lovely en-suite bathroom with a Victorian bath and a shower and a fireplace. There is added personal touch of a butler service.

Tawi Lodge consists of 13 en-suite luxury cottages with 4 post beds, comfortable beds all sits to the face of Mount Kilimanjaro, each cottage offer its own wooden-deck veranda, chimney and a panoramic view of the highest mountain in Africa, so rewarding even from the comfort of your bed or your bathtub. The Double or twin cottages all have en-suite bathrooms fitted with both a bath shower. Your stay will also be accompanied by fine wines from our cellar.

The 4 different lounge with deep couches ,2 stocked bars to have a drink, relax by the fire place or our own water hole that attracts wide range of wildlife in the area.

The lodge also has a fireplace and a stocked minibar for every special sundowner which contributes to your leisure time during your stay at the park. Lighting and water systems are powered 24hours t to solar power, this system is backed-up by a power generator in order to ensure you always with a total comfort in all bathrooms to have hot/cold water, flush shampoo/conditioner.

Tawi Lodge is set in Amboseli National Park a big game park renowned to host the largest population of Elephants in Africa and not only in the Africa but worldwide. The lodge offers amenities like a restaurant, a concierge service, garden, bar, outdoor pool, and children’s playground. 

Outside the lodge there’s umbrella shade of the enormous Tortillis acacia trees where you can have panoramic view of Kilimanjaro and the wetlands which acts as a water source to animals and huge number of elephants are seen here bathing. It is such amazing experience to enjoy your favorite drink while witnessing the life of big elephants bathing in the mud just a few meter in front of you.

They offer excellent and friendly services particularly noticed whilst dining. Fine cuisine produced in our own organic garden irrigated with water supply from the Kilimanjaro surfaces through volcanic rocks and creates a very fertile soil. Your senses will automatically be delighted by a blend of spices from the Kenyan Swahili Coast.

In the evening, before and after dinner, you relax by the campfire under our very special tree-bar, sit comfortably on the sundowner couch and listen to the wondrous sounds of the African bush –all done under the rewardable African sky where the stars seem to be brighter than elsewhere.

The style of the lodge is a harmonious combination of modern ‘’both comfort and traditional’ ’this reminds our guests that they are in Africa. Each safari cottage offers its own wooden deck veranda with.

The location of the lodge offers great views on the highest mountain in Africa known as Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli beautiful eco-system displays a remarkable variety of wildlife, with more than 60 mammal species. Here there’s no doubt of spotting wild animals.
