The Cliff camp is a 10 room luxury camp opened in June 2018, the camp is a beautiful combination of safari lodge, tented camp, and boutique hotel, constructed and furnished in a contemporary European style.
The Cliff Camp is strategically situated at the 100 meter cliff with tents built on solid foundations at the edge of the cliff and magnificent views of Lake Nakuru, allowing guests to enjoy 180 degree views of the panoramic paradise with high sense of privacy.
The Cliff Camp offer a range of facilities available for visitors including Bar, Spa, Conference room, Fitness room, fitness center, Non smoking tents, Restaurant and Wi-Fi.
Location of the Cliff
The cliff is located inside Lake Nakuru National park a famous destination for bird watchers, the park is a haven for birds attracting millions of flamingoes and other bird species along Lake Nakuru, a soda lake nestled into the ancient Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is surrounded by a mix of woodlands, bush, savannah and volcanic cliffs.
The Cliff in Lake Nakuru national park is perched at the top of a 100 meter high rock face and is among the newest and smartest addition of accommodations in Lake Nakuru national park. The Tents (rooms) at The Cliff Camp
The Cliff Camp has a total of 10 camp Tents in which are used to offer comfortable and luxurious accommodations to guests of a Kenya safari in Lake Nakuru national park, each of these tents is built on solid foundations at the edge of the cliff facing the breathtaking Lake Nakuru. These tents are perfectly erected allowing guests 180 degrees of the panoramic Paradise, these tents offer a high sense of privacy.
The Tents are spacious and they feature freestanding baths looking outdoors, the exterior of the tents and the Cliff camp generally is truly pure Africa and the room interiors are a combination of Organic chic with international designs creating an understated style of a modern boutique hotel.
At the Cliff Camp, guests can sit on the veranda to catch the rising sun early in the morning with vivid light across Lake Nakuru, watch the park’s wildlife as they are waking, as they roam around the park and the sunset in the event. During the dark hours, guests get to enjoy the nocturnal sounds of the wilderness.
Activities
It would be easy for a guest at The Cliff to spend the day gazing at the view from the comfort of the elegant tent, but there’s more to do around Lake Nakuru. Get up early and go on a game drive in the open-sided Land Cruisers, and perhaps see a leopard, lion, buffalo, rhino or a rare Rothschild’s giraffe. Hippo can also be sighted around the lake, and for birdwatchers, Lake Nakuru National Park is birdwatcher’s paradise with its incredible bird variety including the famous pink flamingoes.
If guests prefer their game drive as the sun goes down they might like to visit the gym before breakfast, relax by the infinity pool with a cold drink just before lunch and have a soothing massage in the spa before heading out at 4 pm. While the day is busy, the pace itself is tranquil, the only disturbance (if you can call it that) being the calls from the nearby fauna.
