Sasaab Safari lodge is found in Kenya in one of its national game reserves in Kenya Northern Frontier District. Sasaab sits in Buffalo Springs National Reserve renown as a home to the range of wildlife with large herds of elephants plus lions, leopards, cheetahs and the Samburu Special Five. Which include; Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali Ostrich.
They have friendly and warm hospitality of the attentive staff who makes every safari experience of guest memorable. The lodge also offers great location on the river which naturally allows perfect views of the herds of elephants that come to link for water for their thirst and bath.

Sasaab has a beautiful architecture that follows a unique Moroccan design which reflects in the interior décor as well. Offering nine Moroccan styled rooms, each of which raises 100meters, designated with a spacious open-air bathroom as well as a private plunge pool. The lodge still offers great rewardable vistas across the Laikipia Plateau towards the jagged peak of Mount Kenya which is incredible looks from the verandas of the rooms.
The lodge also accommodates a family room in the Sasaab Family Suite, comprised of 8 rooms and nine combined. These share a central lounge and can be admired as an exclusive villa, with separate out reach. Subject to availability additional beds in use.

Getting there
By Air to Sasaab: Traveling by Air is approximately 1.5hours flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to fly into Samburu National Reserve, Buffalo Springs, Kalama or Sasaab strip directly. It is very important when booking flights to always consider the airline that guests are staying at Sasaab. Because there can be multiple stops on scheduled flights. Charter flights into Sasaab’s airstrip are available in the country.
By Road: Travelling by road estimates 9 hours’ drive from Nairobi the capital, drive through Mount Kenya and up into the Northern Frontiers District.
