7 days Amboseli and Tsavo safari is a rewarding safari that takes place in Kenya in its three safari destinations that is Amboseli National Park Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. The safari offers you the spotting of the big five mammals, views of Mount Kilimanjaro, incredible viewing points to spot the park’s animal species, bird watching, staying in the eco-friendly lodges and among others. Day 1: transfer to Amboseli National Park.

On the first day of the safari you will be picked up in Mombasa or hotel within Mombasa, drive towards Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, relax for an afternoon game drive.

On the game drive in the plains of Amboseli National Park, you will enjoy views of the wide open grass plains with the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background the highest mountain in Africa. The plains of Amboseli dotted with scattered acacia bush host various wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse wildlife. Later, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: full day game drive.

After early morning breakfast at your lodge then head to Amboseli National Park for a full day of exploration, Amboseli National Park is a home to a wide range of wildlife species such as large herds of African elephants, lions, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and many more which you will spot while on the full game drive. At lunch you will either drive back to your lodge or have picnic lunch set in the grasslands of the park, after lunch you will have another game drive exploring more of Amboseli National Park. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Tsavo East National Park.

On the third day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, and check out from your lodge. And transfer to Tsavo East National Park where you will enjoy an en-route game drive as you see the various wildlife species in their natural habitat of semiarid grasslands. As your heading to Tsavo, once upon your arrival you will be served at your lodge after you check-in.

Another game drive will be in the afternoon as you experience more of the wilderness of Tsavo East National Park in search of its wildlife while enjoying the beautiful scenery, taking photos and watching the sunset over the savannah as you proceed to your lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night stay.

Day 4: morning and afternoon game drives.

You will wake up and have your breakfast at your lodge as the night before as you prepare for your morning game drive during which you will spot a variety of wildlife species that are very active during the morning and they include elephants which are famous in this national park, lions, jackals, leopards, duikers, elands, hartebeests, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, baboons among others.

Afternoon game drive: Lunch will be served at your lodge after your morning game drive. You will have another wildlife viewing experience in Tsavo East National Park after some rest at your lodge and during this game drive; you will visit different attractions around the national park such as River Galana and Yatta Plateau among others as you look out for wildlife species. You will be driven back to your lodge after your afternoon game drive and you will be served your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive to Tsavo West National Park.

Breakfast will be served and after, you will check out of your lodge in Tsavo East National Park. You will have an en-route game drive and you will see different wildlife species along the way as you proceed to Tsavo West National Park to engage in other wildlife viewing experiences.

You will check in at your lodge and have your lunch upon arrival in Tsavo West National Park. You will later have an afternoon game drive around the national park as you search for different wildlife species such as zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, lions, and antelopes as well as different bird species. You will be driven back to your lodge as you watch the sunset over the savannah plains and continue your journey to your lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 6: morning and afternoon game drives.

A full day of exploring Tsavo West National Park will start with breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your morning game drive to see the wildlife species which are very active in the morning as they hunt, graze and roam in the national park plains. You will also visit Ngulia rhino sanctuary to see the endangered rhino species and after this experience, you will return for your lunch which will be served at your lodge.

Afternoon game drive: In the afternoon, you will visit other attractions in Tsavo West National Park such as the Mzima springs where you will see hippos as well as crocodiles as well as monkeys in the trees. You will be driven back to your lodge as you look out for more wildlife and bird species in the savannah of the national park and watch the sunset.

Day 7: Transfer to Nairobi.

On the last day of the safari, you will have your breakfast and check out of your lodge in Tsavo West National Park and then proceed to drive through the national park as you enjoy the scenery and sightings of wildlife species during the enroute morning game drive on your return journey to Nairobi you will have enroute lunch where your guide will drop you off at your preferred location which will mark the end of your safari.
