Uzima cottages Amboseli is a newly built mid- range accommodation situated 11km from Amboseli national park in the savannah just 10 minutes ‘drive from national park iremito gate Kenya region . The lodge is located 28km away from Mbirikani and the rift valley. The park is big covering 3000 square km area in Kenya and across the borders of Tanzania. You can either be in the park by road or air transport which takes about 240km driving Nairobi -arusha road through Meshanani gate and 228Km on Nairobi -mombasa road and 50 minutes to fly from Nairobi to close airstrip amboseli . The camp is convenient and business friendly for rsafari adventures to tourists and travellers visiting the park with its breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro ( africa’s highest mountain ) and surrounding areas.
Uzima Cottages Amboseli consists of over 10 spacious and comfortable rooms that accommodate over20 guests overlooking the stunning Mt. Kilimanjaro built in African traditional style with glassed windows. Rooms are well decorated with en -suite facilities of flushing toilets, Mosquito nets, hot/cold separated running shower, free toiletries, white pillows, complimentary bottled water, slippers, and other facilities. Rooms have verandas, sitting areas and terraces with a cozy atmosphere, you relax while overlooking the beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro and animals visiting the camp especially elephants and surrounding wilderness. The camp has excellent and comfortable tents with clean and washed beddings. Rooms are in different sizes with single beds for individuals, double bed, twins and family rooms. The camp has fireplaces where guests relax and share stories about the safari; it also provides warmth to guests during chill weather. Rooms cost 150$ and above per night. But prices differ in different season where in peak season the price goes slightly high.
